Drew Koehler, Co-Founder / Chief Revenue Officer at Blue Tees Golf
Special guest
Drew Koehler is the Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer of Blue Tees Golf, a golf technology company that has rapidly become one of the industry’s most distinctive and fastest-growing brands. With a career rooted not in golf, but in high-level business strategy, Drew’s journey to entrepreneurship began at Gartner, a multi-billion dollar global research and advisory firm, where he served as Director of Business Development. There, he specialized in go-to-market consulting for tech companies, helping organizations structure their sales teams, adopt the right technologies, and scale revenue. It was that very expertise—combined with a frustrating afternoon on a San Francisco golf course—that led him to take his own advice, liquidate his bank account, and co-found Blue Tees Golf alongside a group of friends with complementary skills in finance, industrial design, and digital marketing.
As Chief Revenue Officer, Drew oversees the company’s growth strategy, partnerships, and go-to-market execution, steering the brand from a single rangefinder concept into a full-scale connected ecosystem. Under his leadership, Blue Tees has forged high-profile partnerships with industry giants like TaylorMade, TravisMathew, and PGA TOUR Superstores, while securing endorsements from top instructors like Sean Foley. Drew’s philosophy is rooted in a simple but disruptive idea: golf technology should be beautifully designed, uncompromising in quality, and accessible to the modern golfer without breaking the bank. Today, Blue Tees’ product portfolio spans Bluetooth-enabled laser rangefinders, GPS speakers, and the upcoming Rainmaker launch monitor—all unified by a proprietary app that delivers a seamless, data-driven experience.
A graduate of the University of Washington, Drew combines his corporate strategy background with an authentic, player-first approach to building products. His entrepreneurial story—born from a broken rangefinder and a leap of faith—has become a blueprint for aspiring founders looking to break into legacy industries. When he’s not on the road or in the office, Drew can be found on a golf course in Southern California, where he lives by the brand’s mantra: Play Different.
