Tj is the CEO and Founder of SmashSwing - a new immersive, patent-pending, multi-player, multi-ball tracking large scale gamified golf simulator.

He is a leading brand builder, operator and culture creator primarily in the competitive socializing, family entertainment and hospitality franchising space. TJ currently is a leading hospitality speaker and founder of SmashSwing Immersive, a patent-pending, multi-player gamified golf simulator which is revolutionizing the competitive socializing space.

Prior to launching SmashSwing, he helped ignite the growth of BigShots Golf as part of ClubCorp/Invited to be the second largest player in the golf entertainment space. The brand grew from 1 to 7 units in 20 months with a mix of corporate owned, managed and franchised locations.

TJ also founded and grew SMART Restaurant Group, a franchisee of Which Wich Superior Sandwiches, to 17 locations at its peak. The brand won numerous industry awards recognizing their team's innovative approaches to technology and people development. Multi-unit leaders were developed and systems and training created, much of which was adopted by the franchisor.

In addition to being a multi-unit franchisee for over a dozen years, TJ used the lessons learned in his franchised restaurants to speak and consult with other brands on systems, guest service, Off-Premises (takeout/delivery/catering), running a successful franchise and motivating today’s generation. Dozens of brands have benefited by implementing systems created by TJ to help them implement systems, procedures and the right culture grow sales and unit counts...and their people!

He has authored 4 books, including his 'S.M.A.R.T. Restaurant Guide’ series and 'Send Flowers to the Living! Rewards, Contests and Incentives to Build Employee Loyalty'.

He has been a well-respected speaker and presents at numerous trade shows, industry events and manager/franchise conventions. In addition, TJ is often quoted or featured in publications on the topic of motivating today's employees, training today's generation and delivering outstanding guest service.
