Justin James: 2017 World Long Drive Champion - Men's Open Division

Justin James is the 2017 Volvik World Long Drive Champion. The Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida native is now the number 1 ranked long driver in the world. The 27-year-old spent several seasons as a player in the Toronto Blue Jays organization before turning his attention to Long Drive. In his rookie season, he finished T-3 at the 2016 World Long Drive Championship. He returned to Thackerville, Okla. the following year to take home the belt with a 435-yard drive walk-off winner.
In addition to performing and speaking at corporate and charity golf events across the country, Justin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist who consults some of North Florida's top golfers. Justin graduated from Trinity Baptist College with a B.S. and M.A. in the Bible, and served as the College's Head Golf Coach for two seasons before turning professional in 2016 and marrying his wife, Ashleigh.
