Tajma Brown - PGA WORKS Fellowship Intern

Special guest

Tajma Brown is a sports business professional who currently works for the Middle Atlantic Professional Golfers Association of America as their inaugural PGA WORKS Fellow. PGA WORKS is a part of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America. As a fellow, Brown works with the junior golf department coordinating tournaments and assisting in communication (i.e. press releases and social media) efforts for the office. Aside from the PGA, Brown has also worked for the NBA, Minor League Baseball, and a Division I athletic department.

Aside from her roles in the sports industry, Brown is an avid reader and new writer. Her debut book Meant to be Broken was published on Amazon in August of 2017. She is a firm believer in the importance of reading and has organized book drives to get books to those who cannot easily access them on their own.

Brown graduated from Hampton University in 2016 where she acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and from West Virginia University in 2017 where she acquired a Master’s degree in Sport Management.
